Johannesburg, 2021: While contemplating suicide, Wabayi, a reluctant operative for a nefarious criminal organisation, is approached by George, the husband of one of her victims, to infect him with a deadly disease.

Synopsis

Harbinger is a dystopian drama that takes place in Johannesburg, 2021. The narrative follows Wabayi (Raven), a reluctant operative for a nefarious criminal organisation that kidnaps then purposely infects victims with a deadly disease, as she comes to terms with her recent actions which she feels are irredeemable. When she is approached by George Smith, the boyfriend of one of her victims, to infect him, Wabayi has to decide whether to infect out of mercy or deny George a chance of reconnecting with his loved one. However, George is also intent on exacting revenge upon Wabayi – the person whom he believes infected his girlfriend.
